Courses

5-Hour Beginning Salsa Workshop

*This course is designed to teach the fundamental footsteps of Salsa with and with out a partner. Timing, partnering and self confidence are key components of class instruction. (This is a great crash course in Salsa for people who have little or no experience.)

4-Hour Intermediate Salsa Workshop

*This course is designed to teach intermediate Salsa patterns. This is a fast pace class that is fun and challenging.
Requirements for this course: Knowledge of fundamental basic steps which include:  back break, cumbia step, cross body lead, right turn and left turn.

3-Hour Bachata Workshop

*This course introduces LA Style and basic Dominican Style Bachata. This course reviews fundamental priciples of body isolation.

3-Hour Rueda de Casino Workshop

*This course gives a taste of The LA Influence style Rueda de Casino. It introduces concepts taken from Cuban style, Miami Style and LA Style Rueda. This is a fun and energetic class for the beginner or intermediate dancer.

1-Hour Beginning Ladies Styling Class

*This course offers Basic Ladies Styling technique. It includes posture, hand placement, and  timing. 

1-Hour Beginning Salsa "On 2"   

*This course is designed to learn how to dance the basic steps of salsa on the two count. 

1-Hour Fundamentals in Partnering                   

*This course deals solely on partnering technique. It instructs partners how to utilize their entire body and communicate clearly. 

1-Hour Zumba Class

*This is a fast pace course. It is an intense cardio workout that will make you sweat.

1-Hour Basic Shine Class

*This course will give students the tools to build their footwork and teach them to be creative through the use of simple but classy body movements.

1-Hour Mix Style Salsa “Dancing in the slot vs. the orbit”

*This course is the foundation of The LA Influence. It explains how to maneuver on and off your lines effectively.

1-Hour Beginning Cha Cha Cha "On 2"   

*This class teaches the fundamentals of Cha Cha CHa

30-Minute Salsa Etiquette lecture

*This 30-minute lecture deals with the principles of Salsa and proper etiquette that will help you on and off the dance floor.
