The LA Influence is available to teach quality instruction worldwide. We offer many different styles of classes and workshops. We are experienced in teaching multi-hour intensives and our staff guarantees to be able to teach anyone how to dance. Private Instructions
Need one on one attention? The LAI offers private instruction in all styles of Salsa, Cha Cha Cha, Bachata, Merengue, Cumbia and Ballroom. We tailor each class to your needs and level. First time taking a private class? Schedule your first class at an introductory rate to see if private instruction if for you. Email us with questions about pricing and to book your first session.
Group Classes
Currently we offer classes twice a week. This is a great way to interact with other students at your same level. Learn how to dance and come make some new friends.
Workshops
For the dancer who does not have time to take weekly classes this is the perfect session for you. Workshops are at minimum of two hours in length. Not only do we teach workshops but we also bring in guest instructors from all over for your learning pleasure.
Choreography
Not only can we teach you how to social dance but we can also teach you choreography for any special event. Contact us for rates.
Entertainment
Looking for affordable entertainment for your event? We offer entertainment for various occasions including: Weddings, Quinceañeras, Anniversaries, Graduation/Birthday Parties, Festivals, Charity Events, Fundraisers, Holiday Parties, Corporate Level events. We customize packages to tailor to your needs. Entertainment can include Dance Demos, Lesson for your guests, Our dancers will stay after the shows and mingle with your guests

Salsa (Basic)
This course is designed to teach the fundamental footsteps of Salsa with and with out a partner. It also introduces fundamentals of partnering. s is no requirements for this course. We cater the class to the needs of the students.
Salsa (Basic Plus)
This course is designed to strengthen leading and following skills and technique. This class will prepare a student for Level 2 Salsa. Requirements: Knowledge of the following – basic step, side step, open/forward break, forward/back cumbia, right turn, and cross body lead.
Salsa (Intermediate)
This course is designed to teach intermediate Salsa patterns. This is a fast pace class that is fun and challenging. Requirements: Knowledge of the following – Basic step, side step, open/forward break, forward/back cumbia, right turn, left turn, hook turn, hammer lock turn, and cross body lead.
Rueda-Infused “RI” Style Bachata
This course is Dominican Bachata meets Rueda de Casino fusion. Don’t be fooled, this is not the same Rueda de Bachata that you might have see on youtube by those other guys. This is a progressive class.
Casino Style Salsa
This course gives a taste of The LA Influence style Casino. It introduces concepts taken from Cuban style, Miami Style and LA Style Casino. This is a fun and energetic class for the beginner or intermediate dancer.
Salsa “On 2″
This course teaches a student how to lead and follow salsa on the two count. It will also teach a student how to listen to the music so that the focus of dancing is not based on numbers and counts but instead on the rhythm of the conga.
Cha Cha Cha “On 2″
This class teaches the fundamentals of Cha Cha Cha on the “2″ count. Students will learn how to listen and interact with the music.
Mix Style Salsa “Dancing in the slot vs. the orbit”
*This course is the foundation of The LA Influence. It explains how to maneuver on and off your lines effectively.
Fundamentals in Partnering
This course deals solely on partnering technique. It instructs partners how to utilize their entire body and communicate clearly.
Basic Shine Class/Ladies Styling
This course will give students the tools to build their footwork/turns/spins and teach them to be creative through the use of simple but classy body movements.
Dance Etiquette lecture
This lecture deals with the principles of Salsa and proper etiquette that will help you on and off the dance floor.
